D1-GP 2012 ROUND 1, A SOAKED ODAIBA
photo by : Dino Dalle Carbonare
With a Aussie and Kiwi officially in the D1 championship , if you aren’t already following D1GP, now is the time to start. No excuses.

Scion Racing/ GReddy Drift FR-S (FT-86) World Debut with Ken Gushi
An Australian may compete in the D1GP Japan
Wataru Furutani from Yokohama Japan’s Motorsport Dept. and Jake Jones in the secret Yokohama Design Centre.
For the first time, an Australian may compete in the D1GP Japan.
Despite having some extremely talented drivers; no Australian has ever competed in the Japanese drift championship D1GP Japan. In December 2011 Jake “Driftsquid” Jones took a holiday to Tokyo and ended up being invited to drive a Team Orange Drift School car around Ebisu. Soon after he returned to Australia he was offered a drive in the Team Orange Subaru WRX at Round 1 of the 2012 D1GP Japan event known as Tokyo Drift in Odaiba, Japan. So how the hell did this 22 year old from Adelaide score the drive? We’ll let Jake tell the story.

Bloodmasters Teaser Video
source: Wreckedmagazine
The team is half street gang and half missile drift crew which is composed of several Drift Alliance Members, a few Drift ALliance Aces, all mixed in with a few new bloods of the sport. The video boasts Ryan Tuerck, Chris Forsberg, and Tony Angelo tearing up Englishtown Raceway in what has to be one of the best drifting videos we have seen in a long time. While the Drift Alliance these days is all but dead (except for Rhys Millen joining the team) this just marks the feeling of 2004 Drift Alliance or dare I say the “Bad As Hell” days. Sit back and enjoy one awesome drifting video.
Hit & Run Private Track Day @ Wakefield Raceway

Article : Street-Cover Written by: Michael Klimentos / Photos by: Michael Klimentos & Steven V. Phan
Last Friday, the Hit and Run drift club held a private track day at Wakefield Park Raceway. The Wreck ‘Em crew headed out as well to catch some crazy footage from the day for an upcoming DVD. The sun was out blazing and felt like it was summer again.
